Funkey Bios: Lotus

 

Lotus are extremely calm & peaceful Funkeys and have an intense connection to the planet – the Great Mother Terrapin. Lotus are friends to all wildlife and have the ability to communicate with many different types of animals. Some say they can even talk to trees.

With such a natural bond with the environment, it seems odd that the Lotus reside in the heart of Funkeys Town. Could this be the reason for the broken heart? Then again, maybe it is their strong bond with the environment that holds all of the Funkeys Town together.

Either way, the Lotus stay cool in all situations, even Master Lox and his evil henchmen don’t get the Lotus too worried. Their expressions never change.

Funkeys Central 2.0 Update List (+Thanks for 500+ visits)!

Hey guys! Sorry for the delay on an update list, but im finally here to give yall one! Welcome to the "Funkiki Island" Update.

Changes
-New blog design! For both Summer Fest and Funkiki Island, we remade the blog for a summer-like look!
-New Schedule! We have changed our schedule a little bit. We combined Funkey Tip corner and made a full on weekly post to guides and facts about UB Funkeys! We also made 2 Funkey Bios and 2 Funkey Videos days. OST Thursday is now "UB OST Thursday"

As for the 2 Funkey Showcases we have missed, we will soon post em. We are sorry for the delay on them and posts. We are currently on our finals and it is HELL.

Summer Fest posts will start soon, with us starting the Funkiki Island posts either Next Week or in July.

Funkey Bios: Vroom

 

The Vroom have an instinctive love for anything fast and dangerous.  Their natural mechanical skills and enthusiasm for showing off have given them the reputation of being the most daring of all of the Funkeys.  The Vroom only reinforce this reputation by constantly performing what appear to be ever increasingly dangerous feats, when in fact these stunts are carefully choreographed and practiced with safety in mind.

Most Vroom perform their stunts purely for the love of the stunt itself, and often do so before a cheering audience of their fellow Funkeys.  They constructed a giant arena, called the Room De Vroom, on Laputa Station for their performances.

The Deuce work hard at being "deuce", but the Vroom are just naturally cool.

Funkey Bios: Xener

 

Xener means traveler in Funkey. In the late 40th century, Funkeys were obsessed with space travel. They spent millions of coins on missions that accomplished very little. The last flight mission crashed and remains intact to remind them of this frivolous program but the Xener still believe that space travel is the final frontier.

It was the Xener experience with travel that helped the Guild of Master Technicians build the first portals. Their intention was to boldly go where no Funkey had gone before – the furthest reaches of space. But they found the portals ill equipped to reach that far. An unexpected benefit was using these portals for travel throughout Terrapinia.

Now the Xener spend most of their time playing space video games, honing their skills for one day, they will return to space.

With Summer Fest beginning pretty soon, we thought of redesigning the blog to fit the Summer Theme, and the Upcoming Funkiki Island posts too! We hope you enjoy the new design!

Funkey Tip Corner: Cleaning your Funkeys!

FUNKEY CLEANING...
OH GOD... FUNKEY CLEANING...
One of the most annoying things ever to rise in UB Funkeys. After prolonged use of Funkeys, their chip gets dirty and they start malfunctioning, however, this can be fixed by cleaning it! Heres how:

1) Unplug the UB hub from USB port and re-plug it in. You can also try plugging into a different USB port.

2) Make sure there is no dirt or dust on the contacts of the UB Hub - run your finger across or use canned air.

3) Check the contacts on the bottom of the funkey - be careful to not scratch the contacts as this may cause the funkey to not work at all. Use canned air or soft cloth to gently wipe contacts.

4) Press down on the head of the funkey sometimes works also and a little wiggle (but be careful not to scratch the contacts).

5) Take a Q-Tip, lightly dip it in rubbing alcohol and gently run it along the bottom of the funkey. Lay the funkey on its side. Give it about 2-3 minutes to dry. Then place it on the U.B Hub. This works better than jiggling the funkey.

Funkey Showcase: Scratch

This weeks Funkey Showcase shows Scratch!

 

Scratch´s place is found near the Funkeystown Museum and Gabby Abbey. It resembles a disco place. Its shop has items resembling music, with its rare and very rare items involving instruments.

 

Its game is a dance dance revolution like game, where you need to hit the discs as early as possible, or directly in the red line below. Its quite difficult, but my best advice is to play the easy and medium mode, then playing the expert mode once you are comfortable and speedy enough. Playing the harder modes gives you more points. A highscore of 40,000+ earns the highscore item and access to game room.

 

Funkey Bios: Twinx

 

Twinx means “star” in the native Funkey language, and the Twinx embody this word.  They have achieved celebrity status in Terrapinia.

Like the Amazons on Earth, the Twinx are all female.  But don’t let their beauty fool you.  The Twinx are a strong & proud race.  Legend has it that the Twinx captured all the powers of the moon and the stars in their big beautiful eyes.

The Twinx shimmer with the energy of the entire Funkey galaxy.  You can see it in their captivating and hypnotic eyes.  But the energy that went in can also come out.  The Twinx could change the world in the blink of an eye.

UB Funkeys Funkiki Island Posts Update and Release (Series 2)

The funkies are finally preparing for summer, and what fits with summer... Well none other than an Island!
Funkiki Island has finally been discovered, and with it a portal has finally started to be fixed to enter it. We on the other hand are taking a boat.
Dumb story aside, we finally have a release date for the Funkiki Island Posts! Them, alongside our upcoming "Summer Fest" is starting June 20th!

 

Expect more info about our Summer Fest in the FF Blog, as they will be doing a post pretty soon covering it all.

As for Series 1, we will continue it alongside Funkiki Island Posts. Expect a blog update that day too!
